Day 7 Something New

Something new...

Well I have alot going on these days that is something "new" in my world!!!

1. A new job that I LOVE!!!

Even today with it I have added another level to it, a new role, new purpose, and some more mula!

It is FANTASTIC working at a company that has such wonderful Christian people there, making my own schedule, and still being with my children!

2. This BLOG and the photo contast and my new inspired outlet!

3. Lots of friends having BABIES!

4. But here is a creation I did today for a certain someone's baby on the way!

A hair bow that I made MYSELF.... so excited!

And a Alabama tutu

And this was not an easy task for this AUBURN girl!!!

Day 7 Scattered

In my new creative streak I have been trying to organize things so I do not run around crazy when I want to work on something new!

Ribbon ribbon galour!!!!

This takes care of that scattered part of my supplies!

But there is so much more to do!

I need another room to become a craft room!!!!

Ahhhh one day, baby steps!

Day 6 Childhood Memory

Recently we got a chance to go to Mobile AL where Jason's mom grew up and where she and his dad met.

Although this is not my childhood memory it was nice to get a glimpse of my mother in laws history!

She and her best friend worked here together and now her best friend runs the shop!

Yep that is a peanut in his mouth!

The kiddos loved this.

What fun to share this childhood memory with us and make it one for our children!

Day 6 Treasure

Treasure these special moments!

They are so stinking cute together! And if you know this boy AT ALL you know he and his food have a SPECIAL relationship.... and he does not like to part ways with it!!!

I love and treasure the moments with my children, my friends and family.

Those times are better then any other gift in the world!

Day 5 Someone I Love

Although I LOVE many people I chose the one the God gave me in my life to be my partner, my everything.

Sappy I know

But I truely have not lost those deep down butterflies I get when I see him from far off. Simetimes I think, am I really here with him?

He is such a wonderful man, he is smart, funny, caring, romantic (although I am much more than he!), sexy!

And seeing him with the kids, playing and laughing... makes my heart smile.

Day 5 Sweet Dreams

My kiddos sure are cute when they sleep.

Vannah starts every morning in the bed snuggled with me, she gets up when Jason leaves for work

 (4:30am OUCH) and then snuggles with me- luckily going back to sleep!

I really do love this special snuggle and snooze time we get!

Landon on the other hand is always in his room sound asleep!

No matter the position, he sleeps!

And sleeps!

I wish I could sleep like this, anywhere, soundly... ahhhhhhh man I WISH!

Day 4 Favorite Color

Let's see my favorite color is any shade of blue!

This is a picture of my cloudless day...

I love how it looks like a painted wall, nothing but solid blue.

Did I mention my bathroom is this color!!!!

But I also like GREEN

Look ay our wonderful grass, how inviting is this? Wanna lay down and enjoy the warm from the sun on a coolr breezey day? I DO!

And YELLOW and ORANGE

Esp together like they are here in these flowers!

And PURPLE

Ahhhhh Purple, I love thee!

Purple is a GREAT color for me!

And ORANGE

Auburn, the fall, pumpkins

Ahhhh orange is a must in this girls closet!

So like I said Blue is my favorite color but I sure do like alot of other colors too!

Day 4 Jewelry

For X-mas last year my wonderful husband bought me this awesome jewelry holder... it took the place of 2 holders he had given me before!

But this time it had a full length mirror.... which I had been wanting forever!

He let all everyone open gifts and suck this in saying Santa left it out front... what a sweetie!

Yes I have alot, most of which I have collected over my years, won or been given as a gift!

Day 3 Clouds

I love these light fluffy whispy clouds, they look like a brush stroke across the sky.

Remember when we would sit for hours looking at clouds and telling stories about there shapes...

Makes me want to pack a blanket, go to a secluded area and draw and look at clouds all day long... make up stories, laugh and giggle. ANY TAKERS?

Day 3 Fly

Ooooooooo Ooooooooo Oooooooooo

In the Holiday Spirit I chose ghost as one of my "fly" ideas!

These are flying in the tree at the Ham's house, Lily made them and painted them herself!

My other idea of "fly"

Are the birds in the air.... I wander how much they see and how far they go in one day!

I would love to be a bird "flying" through the trees and valleys in the mountains, kinda like here!

I can close my eyes and feel the air against my skin!

Day 2 What I Wore

Or at least planned on wearing to go out and about yesterday and see Footloose with the girls... but the girls night got postponed!

So I shall wear this tonight!

Have I mentioned I love love clothes and showing my style.

I love how a simple belt can make an outfit PERFECT

And Oh How I Love BOOTS

These are prob my favorite ones!

Cowboy ish but chic and stylish, can dress them up and down!

Day 2 Something I Love

I love the innocence of children and how they play play play and run until they can go no more. How they fight sleep left and right not giving in...

I love how if you get them still for 5 mins they will crash.

I love how they can't even keep their head up when they have had a fun filled day.

Ahhhh to be a child and fall asleep wherever you sit... and sleep soundly!

Landon asleep with his cup close by, when I took his tray away from him he was grabbing at his food trying to get 1 more bite... thats my boy!

Savannah- she swore she wasn't tired and negotiated with us to stay up and watch a movie after she finished dinner. She didn't even budge when Jason wiped her down and took her to bed.

Day 1 (August) Photo Challenge: Self Portrait

Since I am doing this photo challenge in October I thought I would go a distorted almost ghostly self portrait of my self! A reflection from the window tonight!

But I also see my "self" in these 2 babies

And I like to think that this "Portrait" shows me in many ways!

See you can't just capture who I am in one photograph, it would take a mantra of works to even come close . I am a women, a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother,  friend, a co-worker and even an enemy to some. I do not choose these roles they choose me. I am who I am because I was made this way. Take me or leave me.

Day 1 Fall Challenge: Open Door

Mathew 7:7 says "Knock and the door shall be opened unto you"
As the old saying "When one door closes another door will open"

I did not realize how many sayings thee are that use "open door" in some way or another. Some talk about actual doors others talk about the opportunities out there in life.

In my life I have found that no matter how ordinary the door is it can open your life to many extraordinary adventures....

Who would have thought this door: ordinary/plain/ simple/ void

Could have opened a threshold to a new life, an adult life. It brought in parenthood, friends and family.

The outward impression of the door is not always what it is on the inside, dark opening into a warmth beyond.

Welcome the door is ALWAYS open!

Another perspective of the open door, a world beyond our imagination. The reflection of what could be or could have been. This is a door that should probably stay closed, it will only keep you wondering but not moving you forward.

But sometimes you may find all the doors in your life shut, do not be discouraged your way out and your new adventure may just be out the window, unconventional but still extraordinary and will bring you to the life that is meant for you.
